Sorry for the late notice, but our society was invited to Letterkenny to watch ATU Letterkenny's Law Society have a debate with the title of "This House would Re-Elect Donald Trump".

As I was late to see this invitation, I had no time to get any bus or any other travel plans ready. Due to this, if anyone is interested in driving to Letterkenny I wish that they make this interest known as others may like a lift. I believe it may be possible to get reimbursed for petrol but have no idea how exactly that system works.

The invitation is for tomorrow and goes as follows;

We would like to invite any interested members of your society to spectate our first big event of the year, the ATU Donegal Law Society Debate. The Debate topic is "This House would Re-Elect Donald Trump"
We have partnered up with the Debate Society to put on this event. It is a 3v3 Student debate based on the American Presidential Election. Our Head of Department Bronagh Heverin will be chairing the debate and we hope to confirm a special guest Judge in the coming days. The panel of debaters will give their opening statements in the first section of the Debate, and we will then take plenty of questions and engagement from the crowd.
The Debate will take place on Monday, 4th November at 17:45 (doors open 17:30) in Room 1104. The event will likely last around 90 minutes. We understand it may not suit the majority of your members given the time and travel involved, but just for those who were willing to travel up, it would be a great pleasure to have them there.
