Trad Music Classes resume Semester 2

"All welcome to music classes for beginner tin whistle followed by intermediate/advanced classes (for melodic instruments) where students can rehearse set tunes one evening per week.)  Contact and further details to Fiona Doherty, Music Teacher Lead.At Jan 2026 MUSIC SESSIONSMondays Tea break: 10.30 am to 11 am.         Evening sessions for advanced musicians, various locations and evenings in Sligo.  Thursdays is a popular day for these.  Come along to the Monday sessions & we'll have more details and we'll see the session for the week.MUSIC SESSIONS AND CLASSES FOR 2025 BELOW (Similar will take place in March 2026)TradSoc Music Classes resume Wednesday March 12th 2025 for all levels - beginners to advanced - improve skills, meet other musicians and develop repertoire. (Melody Instruments only). Venue: Room C1005.  Fee Free to ATU students.  Small Fee for ATU Staff- €45 for 6 classesDates: (6 classes) – Wednesday March 12th, 19th, 26th and April 2nd , 9th and 30th (No class April 16th & 23rd )Class Times:  5.30pm- 6.30pm   Beginners and Improvers and  6.30pm -7.30pm   Intermediate and Advanced Steps to Register for music classes - Further information and to register your interest in attending - please contact Music Educator/Tutor - Fiona Doherty  Fiona.Doherty@atu.ie  Important - new and existing students/staff attending the music class must sign up with Trad Soc Music Society   Also - Weekly Music sessions - Venue: O’Hehirs Canteen - come along to play a few tunes (Intermediate/ Advanced) or relax and listen.
